BEEDRA

Beedra is a wonderful series of individual stories about a young girl, age ten, who inherits something magical. One person in every other generation of her family gets a certain supernatural skill that allows her to communicate with animals.

In the first episode, she learns of this skill and uses it to save her best friend, Reece, who has been kidnapped. She does so by communicating with Reece’s dog and then making the acquaintance of several street dogs, a Doberman Pinscher named Cap, a wolflike dog named Lobo and a bloodhound named Sniff. Together, they locate and rescue Reece while also apprehending the perpetrators.

In subsequent episodes, she deals with other challenges, some of which involve dangerous animals. In all instances, it is Beedra and her team of various animals (not just dogs) who combat both people and other animals. Each of the five episodes is suspenseful and stands alone as a completed story.
